This is not a quoll. It is an Australian raven. Its throat is bare but its eyes are white. This means it’s a relative youngster whose throat hackles haven’t grown in yet but it’s old enough for its irises to have gone from dark to white.

As you can see, the Australian raven has prominent throat hackles and lowers its tailfeathers as it caws, giving the impression that there’s a noise coming from both ends of it. One end is bad enough.
