This is not a quoll. It is a frilled dragon, previously known as a frill-necked lizard until someone realised that frilled dragon sounds far more awesome.

It used to be on the 2c coin but since we discontinued 1c and 2c coins in favour of rounding, it’s been out of work.

Incidentally, it doesn’t look like a classic frill-necked lizard doing its display because it’s not telling anyone to piss off.
