This is not a quoll. It is a willie wagtail, so named because whenever it comes to halt, it wags its tail.

Willie wagtails are as bold as they are petite, and they are very petite. They know no fear at all. This one for instance was perched on a lion.

The Noongar name of this bird is djidji-djidji, quite possibly named after its strident alarm call.
