Blender’s grease pencil is marvellous. Here is roughly where things will end up on Mr Grumpy Squirrel. (OK, maybe not in the case of that hand. He has to hold things with it.)

It took about ten sketches to get the slouch right and the right hand oriented believably. I lack skill but I am tenacious.
