This is not a quoll. It is a Stimson’s Python, also known as a stimmie to its fans. My hand is not particularly big; this python is just somewhat petite. These pythons are legal to keep in Western Australia with the proper licence.

This python was very fond of my hand and actually hissed at the keeper when the keeper took him off me. Apparently hands are better than heated enclosures.

Quolls also hiss when annoyed or threatened, but they sound more like snakes than cats.
