This is not a quoll though it is a marsupial. It is a nabarlek, also known as a pygmy rock-wallaby. His name is Norbert and he is tiny.

You might ask how a rock-wallaby actually gets around on rock faces. The answer is that they leap like ninjas and scramble up with their forepaws. Norbert here can leap with awesome accuracy over big distances. He is awesome and quite a cutie too.

He’s rooming with a quokka called Sticky and a woylie whose name i didn’t catch. Sticky and Norbert seem to be getting along alright but the woylie.. not so much. It is a heartwarming macropod marsupial sitcom in the making, that’s for sure.
