This is a chuditch or western quoll, Charlie from Perth Zoo nocturnal house to be exact. This is Charlie the Chuditch week on this photoblog – from 10-16 June, a new picture of Charlie every day. This is a picture of Charlie being very excited about his own special week. Go and visit him at Perth Zoo and do visit the northern quoll and other dasyuromorphs while you’re at it.
This is a spotted-tailed quoll, one of the new quolls at Caversham Wildlife Park. He’s sitting up and having a bite to eat. Or she is. I didn’t enquire.
