Never judge someone too fast ! They know what they do =)

A tribute to John Scatman – The Scatman !

I love this artist and I often listen to this song when I animate, it gives me so much energy !!!!

And wow !! I’m really happy to see that videos gives you as much fun and happiness as the GIFS I post, definitely have to post more for you ! Using the music and the rythm to tell a story is always great !

Happy animated thingies doing happy animated things is the best. 🙂

The Blender Foundation has just released Cosmos Laundromat: First Cycle

It’s the latest in a series of Open Movies, produced specifically for the purpose of extending and refining Blender’s toolset in a production situation and pushing it to its absolute limit. To recap previous Open Movies: Elephants Dream was surreal and dark, Big Buck Bunny was cute and funny, Sintel was epic and heartbreaking, Tears of Steel was pulpy and action-packed.

This time around, things get beautiful… and sheepy.

Watch it in 1080p or you’re wasting your time.

One more piece I liked from MIAF 2015: Max Hattler’s Sync. They showed a mini-retrospective of Max’s work at MIAF with Max himself presenting it.

Anyone who can get me to stay interested in abstract shapes for more than a minute or two is pulling off an incredible trick, and Max’s abstract pieces achieved that more than once.

This is another piece I liked from MIAF 2015 – 1923 aka Heaven by Max Hattler. I love the sense of slowly drifting through a vast field of shapes that’s part Tron and part Enter the Void.

Another MIAF 2015 pick, this time a music video. Wasaru’s music video for Kaly Live Dub’s “Allaxis” features a driver lost in his memories taking a constantly metamorphosing passenger to who knows where. Wasaru was kind enough to post an informative making-of on his website.
