This is not a quoll. This is a boobook doing its best to look snooty.

Very occasionally i’ll hear the unmistakeable call of a boobook from my house in the Perth suburbs, and i may have even seen one in Perth’s central business district late one night. It was definitely a little brown owl thingy.
