These are not quolls. These are cassowaries. The black one on the right is dad, the cute little stripy brown ones are his chicks. You can visit them at Perth Zoo.

Cassowaries will of course be familiar to players of Far Cry 3. Thanks to YouTube we can see that FC3’s depiction of cassowaries isn’t actually that off the mark. Many is the time i have been kicked to death by these psychopathic ratites in-game.
